And The Quiet Girl Spoke was a digital storybook series that ran from 2015-2016. It served as the sequel and conclusion to 2010’s The Journalism Show, which was a 7-episode series of animated shorts.
QGS was written for an audience that was already familiar with its characters and world, but it does a passable job of explaining things all on its own if you were not part of that audience.
It’s old. It’s flawed. It is a desperate leap, taken to escape the corner that its predecessor painted it into. Whether it made it out is up to the reader. Regardless, it was made with love, sincerity, and hope.
The Hearties of Soda Cove would not exist if QGS hadn’t tried first.
It has been humbly placed here for anyone who might enjoy it.
